Tips for downloading free art printables
Before downloading your free art printables, here are a few suggestions:
Use quality cardstock paper
I like this quality cardstock from Amazon, which is inexpensive, matte, and has a nice weighty feel.
Print at Fed Ex
If you don't have a color printer, take your cardstock paper to Fed Ex, and they will print your art print file for a very reasonable price. (Around $0.79 per sheet for a color print when you bring your own paper. A black and white art print may cost even less.)
Or use an online service
You can upload the art printable you like to an online printing service such as uprinting.com or printful.com and they will print and mail to you.
Where to find cheap frames
You can often find an inexpensive frame used from Goodwill or a thrift shop. Other good frame options can be found on Amazon, or at your local art supplies or framing store.
Color printer recommendation
If you're thinking of purchasing a color printer, but you're overwhelmed with the options and aren't sure, I was just in your place until a few weeks ago. I just purchased and can recommend the HP OfficeJet 250 Mobile All-in-One. It's not the cheapest printer, but it is very nice quality, which is what I wanted. Have a look at the reviews.
Let me confess I have been going absolutely nuts with free printables since I bought my printer! Currently, I'm printing some fun homeschooling worksheets for my oldest daughter so we can catch up on school stuff over the summer.
